Boilerplate has appeard in dozens of international publications including DER SPIEGEL (Germany), PARADOX (Russia), and the United Kingdom's preeminent robotics publication REAL ROBOTS. The webmaster and Boilerplate's biographer is Paul Guinan. He is a Chicago born multi-media artist whose eclectic career includes stints as a television personality, cinematographer, ad-agency illustrator, kinetic sculptor, mural painter, production designer, radio DJ, storyboard artist, modelmaker, silkscreener, and even a wax-figure restorer for a Ripley’s Museum. Paul also co-created the monthly series CHRONOS for DC Comics, HEARTBREAKERS (the first female action hero in comics) for Dark Horse Comics, and was lead background artist on the animated TV series Stan Lee's STRIPPERELLA.
Paul is currently working on a coffee-table book history of Boilerplate which will be at bookstores in the fall of 2009.
